One day a man was going along a forest. He saw a snake on a Kalli plant. He was frightened and started running for life. As he ran, a sharp thorn pierced his hand and it started bleeding profusely.

He decided to test Siddhar Muthuvaduganatha Swamigal. He went to him & pretended that poison had entered his system. He bluffed the Siddhar saying that a snake had bitten his hand & begged him to save his life. The Master could see through his lie. He told him bluntly “What you saw was a snake. But it is that sharp thorn which bit you. You have to pay for your mischief !” The poison entered the head of the non believer. He collapsed to the ground right there & died.
